Bayon Photoshoot

Bayon Couples Photoshoot

This Bayon Temple couples photoshoot was a one hour photography session at Bayon temple, inside Angkor Thom with a couple who wanted meaningful images to celebrate a special moment in their lives. We started early in the morning to catch the soft light around Bayon’s iconic stone faces and quiet corridors. The clear sky helped with nice hard lighting which if used the right way can really work well in a photoshoot.

The gallery below shows highlights from this Bayon temple photoshoot. The clients received over 100 high resolution images to download.

More about this Bayon Photoshoot

This Bayon Temple photoshoot was captured in the early morning, using the soft light and quiet atmosphere around the temple to create natural, intimate images. The couple explored several of Bayon’s iconic viewpoints, including the terraces, the shaded corridors, and the famous stone faces. This setting offers a mix of wide cinematic shots and close, candid moments. Photographing at Bayon at this time of day gives a unique blend of colour, depth, and calmness that is perfect for couples, solo travellers, and anyone wanting meaningful images in one of Cambodia’s most iconic temples. This gallery shows what a dedicated Bayon photoshoot can look like when it is planned around the light, the setting, and the people being photographed.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does a typical photoshoot last?
Most sessions run between one and two hours, depending on the location and lighting conditions. I plan the timing carefully to make the most of the sunrise or golden hour.

Can you help choose the best locations?
Yes. I provide guidance based on the lighting, crowd levels and your style. Locations like Angkor Wat, Bayon and Ta Prohm all offer different moods and backdrops.

Do you provide transport on the day of the shoot?
Yes. I can arrange a reliable driver for a reasonable rate to take you to and from the temples. This helps keep the schedule smooth and ensures we reach the best spots at the right time.

How many edited photos will I receive?
You will receive a curated set of high-resolution, professionally edited images delivered via a private online gallery.

Can families or couples do the shoot inside the temples?
Yes. The exact spots depend on temple rules and lighting conditions on the day. I guide you to the areas where photography works best.

What should we wear?
Light, breathable clothing works best. Neutral colours photograph well against the temples, but you’re welcome to choose something more formal if you prefer.

About My Photoshoots

My photoshoots at Angkor Wat or in Siem Reap are not having someone to take snapshots while you tour the temples. I usually don’t join existing tours or follow groups around on their tours.

Each photography session is the tour, planned around the best light, the quietest areas at the right times, and the specific locations that work best for the light and authentic, cinematic images. This approach is suited to professional photography rather than generic pictures in crowded spots.

My focus is always on quality and creating meaningful images rather than quick snapshots. When you book a photoshoot with me you’re booking a photographer dedicated to the art of photography.

If you are looking for a more tour oriented photographer to take snapshots on your tour - see a more budget-friendly Angkor Wat photography option.
